High School Fund Raising the FUN way!
Receiving our information packet and start-up kit is free with no obligations. Although students can manage most aspects of B&L Computer Match, adult oversight, namely a faculty advisor, is required to sign up. Once a faculty advisor has signed up, tools will be provided to the adult advisor to assign student leaders specific tasks needed to run a fun and successful B&L Computer Match fundraising drive.
Earn money for your club, team or class by sponsoring a fun activity involving everyone in your school!
Here's how B&L Computer Match works: Every student at your school completes a fun, free questionnaire. The B&L Computer uses the answers to produce a list for each student of the 10 best matches of other students in your school. Each list will include five boys and five girls unless the participant specifically chooses to have, instead, a list of ten girls or a list of ten boys. The lists, available either online with a secret access code or physically on paper, are then sold for $2 to $5 each -- the price is set by you, the sponsoring group. The sponsoring group gets to keep one half of the money for every list sold. This way, there is no risk! You invest nothing but your time and B&L collects only the same amount you collect. If the lists do not sell, the sponsoring group pays nothing. We take all of the risk, you have all of the fun!
Get school-wide participation
Organizers select a questionnaire from B&L's default and sample quizes. A few questions can be customized but optimal matching usually occurs with a tried and tested questionnaire.
Answers for each student in the school are electronically transmitted to B&L Computer Match. Questionnaires are reviewed by real people, but ultimately the B&L Computer decides the results. Codes to access the lists are then provided to the sponsoring group, who only provide the codes upon receiving payment from the participant. Participants can pay online with PayPal, but the sponsoring group should plan to collect cash as well. The purchaser can keep his or her list secret, allow everyone to see it, and even post it on Facebook!
Lists can also be printed from a nicely formatted PDF file either by the sponsoring group or the purchaser. Some groups like to sell the paper copies to provide a tangible souvenir, while others "go green" and keep it all electronic. You decide!
